About Invisible Character Tools
We build free, browser-based tools for working with invisible, blank, and hidden Unicode characters. Our tools let anyone copy an invisible character, generate a custom-length blank string, detect hidden characters inside pasted text, remove them, and inspect any character’s underlying Unicode encoding, without installing software or creating an account.
Why We Built This
Invisible and blank Unicode characters are used every day for blank usernames on Discord and PUBG, spacing in Instagram bios, formatting gaps in messages, and technical work like debugging string comparisons or encoding mismatches. Most existing tools online only offer one character to copy, with no explanation of why it may or may not work on a given platform. We wanted a single place that covers the full picture: which characters exist, how they behave differently across platforms, and practical tools to generate, detect, clean, or inspect them.

How We Keep It Free
All of our tools run entirely in your browser using standard web technologies. There is nothing to download, no account to create, and no data sent to a server for the tools to work. The site is supported through minimal, standard advertising, which keeps every tool free to use.
Our Approach to Accuracy
Character behavior on any given platform can change as apps update their input validation and trimming logic. We test and cross-check our compatibility data against the official Unicode Standard and real-world platform behavior, and we update our reference pages when we find a discrepancy.
